Cybertronian zodiac
From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the Transformer astrology chart. For source of life, the universe and everything, see Zodiac. |
The Cybertronian zodiac is a series of ten signs, each with a related Orbital Cycle (with an equivalent date range on Earth calendars) and aspect, as well as a constellation. Their significance is unknown, but many signs are noticeably god-like beings, so there might be a religious aspect to the zodiac.
The signs of the zodiac are:
- Xal, the sign of Trickery, associated with the cycle of Ferruneon (February 26–April 3). Its constellation is that of a sword.
- Chronarchitect, the sign of Time, associated with the cycle of Navitaneon (April 4–May 9). Its constellation is that of a tanuki.
- The Void, the sign of Hunger, associated with the cycle of Primaneon (May 10–June 15). Its constellation is actually an area lacking in stars, save for one in the center of the sign.
- Shokaract, the sign of the Hunter, associated with the cycle Inrituneon (June 16–July 21). Its constellation is that of a crab.
- The Core, the sign of Unity, associated with the cycle of Chōkoneon (July 22–August 27). Its constellation is its own spiral.
- Serpent O.R., the sign of Combination, associated with the cycle of Zetcaneon (August 28–October 2). Its constellation is that of a serpent. Duh.
- Yggdrasill, the sign of Growth, associated with the cycle of Boltaneon (October 3–November 9). Its constellation is of a tree.
- The Key, the sign of Secrets, associated with the cycle Rokuneon (November 10–December 14). Its constellation is that of a key. Again, duh.
- The Golden Disk, the sign of Wisdom, associated with the cycle of Heptaneon (December 15–January 20). Its constellation is that of a disk. Once more, duh.
- Aquarius, the sign of
hippiesPeace, associated with the cycle Bahneon (January 21–February 25). Its constellation is that of a star.

The AllSpark Almanac
The latest issue of ALTernity Today contained an 'astroscope' that advised Cybertronians on their futures based on their zodiac signs (for example, those with the sign of Xal should led a Keyvian guide their next decisions without controlling them). The AllSpark Almanac II
Heavy Metal
During the Decepticon invasion of Earth, cards describing the signs of the Cybertronian Zodiac were among the random detritus left scattered over battlefields. According to Hound, the sign he was born under, Shokaract, had a dance associated with it that involved side-to-side crab squats. Transformers: Heavy Metal
