Who are you looking at, ugly?

Doublecrosser is living proof that two heads aren't always better than one. They're constantly butting heads with themselves, leaving their teammates to get them back in order before they can do anything.

After they froze Cybertron in time, Doublecrosser landed with the rest of Trypticon’s crew to loot and destroy the planet. Doublecrosser drove a hovering vehicle intended for collecting and transporting stolen goods, and swerved to avoid running Nightbird over, scattering Bug Bite and Afterburner. Nightbird was not happy about this, and threatened to cut them in two should it happen again. Later, Doublecrosser graffitied a wall with their insignia, but their propensity to argue led one of them to spray-paint the other in the face, and they began to beat each other up. The crew was attacked by Grimlock and the other Dinobots, who were forced to retreat when Soundblaster turned the Time Blaster on them. They arrived at the signing of the peace treaty and began to pick the place clean. When Soundblaster unfroze Soundwave’s head to carry out his revenge, Afterburner and Doublecrosser dragged him along, and both questioned who Soundwave was. When Volcanicus attacked, the Mercenaries surrounded the combiner, attacking from all sides. When Laserbeak stole the Time Blaster, Soundblaster ordered an all-out attack. The Mercenaries armed themselves, only to be incapacitated by a volley of missiles from Volcanicus, who imprisoned them inside the trailer they had collected their loot in. When Soundblaster called for Trypticon’s help, he fired his entire crew. During Trypticon’s battle with Volcanicus, a stray tail swipe destroyed their confinement, and the Mercenaries fled Cybertron in their ship, happy to be free of Trypticon’s employ. The Immobilizers

Notes

  • Like most of the other Cyberverse Mercenaries, Doublecrosser's model is a recolouring of an existing character. In their case, that's Rack'n'Ruin.
  • Like Rack'n'Ruin, Doublecrosser is never seen transforming into their alternate mode in the show.
