Filch
From Transformers Wiki
This article is a featured article, and considered to be one of the most informative on this wiki.
- Filch is a Decepticon Corvicon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Filch is a Decepticon of exceedingly simple tastes. If it's shiny, she wants it. That's the long and short of it. It doesn't matter how worthless an item actually is, this maniacal mechanical magpie will take anything that even momentarily glints in the sunlight. She likes to build nests up high so the sun can make her prized collection of whatever all... shiny.
This wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't a really huge, really strong bird capable of ripping steel beams out of concrete to get whatever's caught her eye this time. Her penchant for pilfering has left a whole lot of collateral damage.

One of the many prisoners aboard the Alchemor, Filch was freed from her stasis pod when the ship crashed on Earth. She began nesting in the torch atop the Crown City Colossus outside Crown City and collected any shiny objects from the surrounding area that caught her interest. She was eventually detected by the Autobots, resulting in her getting into a scuffle with Bumblebee's team until she spotted a shiny transmission tower insulator and flew off with it. She next attempted to steal a beam from the bridge into Crown City, only to end up in a tug of war with Bumblebee, until she made off with both the beam and Denny Clay (his hat was shiny!), depositing both in her nest. When the Autobots caught up with her and started climbing the statue to rescue Denny, she fought them until they managed to render her unconscious. They took her back to the scrapyard to be placed back in a stasis pod. Collect 'Em All
Filch's stasis pod was later taken back to Cybertron by Optimus Prime, Windblade and Ratchet. Decepticon Island (Part 2)

Thanks to Grimlock's clumsiness, Filch was freed from her stasis pod and took off. She didn't get far, snatching Scuzzard whom Bumblebee's team was in the process of bringing back to the scrapyard, and taking him to the nearby amusement park. When he started eating dodgems and growing larger, she decided he was threatening her territory and fought with him. The pair were found by the Autobots who managed to recapture them. Back in the scrapyard, Filch made another bid for freedom, only to be caught by Denny's electromagnet, and was returned to a stasis pod. Bumblebee Versus Scuzzard

Legacy
- Star Raider Filch (Deluxe Class, 2024)
- Accessories: Left & right wings
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro), Shuhei Umezu (TakaraTomy)[1]
- Legacy: United "Star Raider Filch" is an extensive retooling of Kingdom Airazor, transforming into a mechanical corvid. She even has an opening beak-jaw to caw at you with.
- A notable change to the tooling is that her outer wings are detachable and can be reattached in show-accurate positions on her arms via 5 mm posts, replacing the arm-mounted blasters from the original tooling. Of course, this also allows them to be used as hand-held weapons.
- While her on-package CG renders show her robot mode with the bird-toes pointed backwards (as you do with Airazor), her instructions and stock photography of the actual toy shows her with the bird-toes facing forward, as they are in her show model; she is also packaged this way.
- Filch was revealed at Walmart Collector Con on March 7, 2024, as part of the Walmart exclusive "Star Raider" collection.

- Series: 3
- Number : 5/12

Notes
- The Corvicon subgroup was first namedropped by a Minitron-controlled Grimlock in "True Colors", but, despite Filch having already appeared in the show, she was not confirmed as a Corvicon until the book Bumblebee Versus Scuzzard.
- In the Chinese dub, Filch was turned into a male for unknown reasons.
