2019 IDW continuity

Part of the Cybertronian Expeditionary Force, the Fist of Iacon was captained by Ultra Magnus and assigned to patrol the galaxy. Storm Horizon Part 1 Given the high risk of violence on the ship's mission, Victory Leo was assigned as a Colonial Security escort. Storm Horizon Part 2

Not long before the Decepticon coup, the ship received instructions to seek out Alpha Trion, tracking the sage to the Decimus Sector. When the ship arrived at Kworia, the crew was ambushed by Spinister's splice-thieves who also sought to find Alpha Trion. Storm Horizon Part 1

With the crew returned, the Fist of Iacon sailed to the Black Sphere system. The situation was enough for Magnus to send a signal to Victory Leo who began following the ship. Upon arriving in the proximity of the Black Sphere, the Fist detected a Cybertronian presence on the planet Obsidar. After Magnus had conducted an investigation, a Kworian fleet entered the system and began attacking Soundblaster's ship. Storm Horizon Part 2

As Victory Leo brought the splice-thieves aboard for imprisonment, Magnus donned space armor and flew off to rescue Alpha Trion from Soundblaster. Upon retrieving his mentor, Magnus returned to the Fist of Iacon which promptly set course for Cybertron. Exiting the system however, the crew learnt that they had been in the Black Sphere's territory for seventy cycles, returning home to find that Megatron had taken over the Senate. Storm Horizon Part 3
