Along with his trusty partner Laserbeak, Flashbox hounded Senator Shockwave regarding a potential schism within the planet's military forces, only for the Senator to rebuff them (and even worse, not only mixed up the duo's names but thought Laserbeak was named Flashback). The duo were quickly interrupted by the Wreckers, who intimidated them before chasing the two off for a private chat with Shockwave. Shattered Glass II #1
