Harpoon

Harpoons are weapons used in both war and marine hunting by Transformers, humans, and even aliens. Alongside a host of aquatic-themed characters, various incarnations of Impactor seem to be particularly fond of the harpoon as a weapon, often going so far as to replace one of their hands with one.

As well as mortar cannons and single-man hovercopters, G.B. Blackrock's oil-drilling platform was armed with wire-guided surface-to-air-harpoons. When Shockwave attacked, Josie Beller fired the harpoons and while they did cause the Decepticon some pain, they were ultimately ineffectual. The Worse of Two Evils!
Impactor had a harpoon in place of one of his hands. During training for Operation: Volcano, he used it to impale a facsimile construct of Shrapnel through the head, turning him into a weapon that he could use against a facsimile construct of Octane. Ultimately Impactor was killed by Macabre during the events of Operation: Volcano. Target: 2006
Later, Impactor's corpse was reanimated by Flame's zombie signal. Legion of the Lost! Upon regaining his consciousness to some degree, Impactor confronted the mad Autobot scientist, impaling Flame through the forehead with his harpoon and sacrificing himself once more for the good of Cybertron. When Longtooth suffered a mental breakdown searching for the Matrix on Pequod, he began hunting the Klud with a harpoon, which he attempted to fire at the beast but was prevented from doing so by a Decepticon starship. Deadly Obsession Later, aboard the Ark, Nightbeat used a harpoon from an All-Terrain Turbo-Transport to defeat the Dark Matrix-possessed Thunderwing. All Fall Down
Rhythms of Darkness!
When Unicron reformatted three criminals into his heralds Hook, Line, and Sinker, Hook gained a harpoon weapon in place of one of his hands. All Fall Down Apprehending Galvatron on an alternate future Earth, Hook speared the Decepticon leader with his harpoon, causing Galvatron to get tangled as he tried to transform to robot mode. Rhythms of Darkness! After Galvatron's inevitable betrayal, Unicron sent Hook, Line, and Sinker after him on Cybertron and although Hook once more successfully speared the Decepticon with his harpoon, he was destroyed by the Primus-possessed Emirate Xaaron shortly afterwards. Transformers '84
Impactor carried a harpoon gun on the Wreckers' first mission to the Project Dreadnought staging site, where they encountered the Terrorcons. In the ensuing battle Sinnertwin bit off Impactor's hand but he managed to fire the harpoon gun he was holding, blowing one of the Decepticon's beast mode heads straight out the back. While Downshift was guarding Spark Core Access Tunnels that led to Primus's inner chambers, he was attacked by Ramjet and Nemesis Prime and impaled by one of the latter's harpoon missiles. Balancing Act, Part 4

Impactor was inspired to replace his hand with a harpoon weapon after a run-in with a dimension-hopping "freelance peacekeeping agent". Impactor's psych-screening
According to Ironfist's The Wreckers' Air Attack, Impactor fought his old friend Megatron at the Manganese Mountains, where with Megatron's fusion cannon pressed to his head Impactor scratched the words "NOT MORE POETRY" on the ground with his harpoon, which gave Megatron pause.
On the way back from a controversial mission on Pova, Springer turned Impactor in to Autobot High Command for massacring Squadron X. Impactor passively detached his harpoon and went without a fight, much to Springer's surprise. Zero Point

At some point during his time in Garrus-9, Impactor lost his harpoon but upon his escape Last Stand of the Wreckers #1 he rejoined with the Wreckers, who refitted him with a new harpoon and invited him to join them on their mission—retake the prison from Overlord and recover Aequitas. During a confrontation with a giant Tarantulas in the Tor at the heart of the Noisemaze, Impactor used his harpoon to escape the situation. He then had to use the harpoon to kill his former comrade Guzzle, who sought revenge against Kup and Prowl for what happened to his friends on Tsiehshi. Sins of the Wreckers #5
In a final confrontation with Overlord and Tarantulas on Earth, Impactor once again nailed Overlord's left eye with a wired harpoon shot while Springer made sure Verity Carlo got to safety. When Overlord tossed Impactor down a deep crevasse, he managed to tangle Overlord's legs up with another harpoon shot, and when Springer slammed into Overlord all three of them were sent tumbling down into the darkness. Bumblebee film
When a brigade of Sector Seven troops led by Agent Burns encountered the Autobot scout B-127 in 1987 they attempted to subdue him with harpoons and machine guns, but B-127 was able to evade them and escape. Bumblebee

- This mold was recoloured by TakaraTomy for its Japanese release, to better resemble Generation 1 Seaspray. It was also recoloured into Deep Dive (see below) and Timelines/Shattered Glass Octopunch, though Octopunch's weapons were labelled as "positron-torpedos" rather than harpoons.

Prime: Beast Hunters Megatron came equipped with the Tartarex Warp Sword, a fish-themed cannon that can convert into a sword-harpoon thing which he can wield via its 5mm handle.

- Fall of Cybertron Impactor came with a brand new spring-loaded missile launcher accessory (with the missile shaped to resemble a harpoon) that can be attached on top of his twin-barreled cannon. Both weapons can be held via 5mm post, and feature additional pegs and peg-holes for mounting/storage.
Robots in Disguise (2015)

- Accessories: two small blades, two large blades, two sets of spikes, gun, "harpoon"
- Ratbat includes a number of translucent accessories, packaged still on their Decepticon-insignia-shaped sprue, which can be attached to him using tabs and slots. Some of these parts can be combined with others from Beastbox, Sandsting, and Velocirazor to form an energy shark.
