"Uncle! UNCLE!" (That's him at the bottom-center.)

During Hyperion's time with the Wreckers, the team's 11th iteration battled Black Shadow. Hyperion's arm was severed and the team suffered three casualties, including field leader Crest. Hyperion apparently succeeded Crest as leader after this battle. Rules of Disengagement

He left the Wreckers at an unspecified point, and was succeeded as leader by Impactor.

Many years later, as Springer went over the candidates for new recruits into the Wreckers, he mused about how Impactor, Crest, and Hyperion had made the same choices before him. Bullets

Hyperion joined Rodimus's mission to use the map within the Matrix of Leadership to find the Knights of Cybertron at Cyberutopia. The mission's departure in the Lost Light was interrupted by an explosion in the ship sending it into premature quantum jump. The resulting hull breach sucked Hyperion out of the ship, and he fell to a nearby planet, flaring brightly as he entered the atmosphere. How to Say Goodbye and Mean It

It turned out he was one of only two actual deaths amongst those sucked out, as Skids stumbled upon the bodies of Hyperion and Polaris while escaping from a pair of killer robots chasing him, and borrowed Hyperion's gun and Polaris's body to destroy one of his pursuers. The surviving robot then stomped Hyperion's corpse into pieces. Hangers On

A grave was made for him at Debris. Down there, Roadbuster namechecked him while wondering who might be the next leader one day. Sins of the Wreckers #1

Foreign names
