The Transformers cartoon

Voice actor: Peter Cullen (English), Gregg Berger (English, "Transformers 40th Anniversary Event"), Lu Jun (Chinese), Jacques Ferrière (European French)

Joe and his coworker were on their way to work at the power plant when their truck was mistaken for a possible Autobot by Thundercracker and Reflector. Thundercracker radioed this information back to Megatron, who sent Ravage to investigate.

Joe and his buddy arrived at the power plant to find it in a shambles. His coworker commented that it looked like a tornado had gone through, but Joe thought there might be more to it than that. Just then, Ravage attacked, tackling each of them to the ground. They somehow managed to escape in their truck, but were in such a hurry that they left their hard hats behind. Transformers/Ghostbusters

Upon finding the "Ecto-1" haphazardly parked in Prospect Park, policeman Frank attempted to ticket the Ghostbusters's vehicle, despite fellow policeman Tim attempting to dissuade him. The vehicle itself took action and lit the ticket on fire, convincing Frank to let things be. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 1

Notes

  • Joe and his coworker have the distinction of being the first humans in the original cartoon to make contact with the Transformers.
  • Joe's character design is based on Victor Dal Chele.[1]
