Windblade resorts to extreme measures to try and fix Bumblebee's damaged memories.

Synopsis
The energy pulse released by Windblade's cortical psychic patch blasts across the desert, and, in the process, knocks the Decepticons Thundercracker and Nova Storm off their feet. Alerted to the presence of Autobots on Earth, Nova Storm quickly takes command and informs her captain that they're setting off to investigate.
Not far away, both Windblade and a skeptical Bumblebee come to. Given his recent experiences, Bumblebee is skeptical of Windblade, but before she can convince her old friend of her good intentions, the two Decepticon scouts zoom overhead! Windblade takes to the skies in a dogfight with Nova Storm while Bumblebee holds off Thundercracker, but the yellow Autobot discovers that his stinger isn't working. Windblade orders him to fall back to the nearby mineshaft, where she uses her detachable turbines to put Decepticons stuck beneath a pile of rubble until they escaped. The encounter has given Windblade an idea, however, and the two set off to find the starship that the two Decepticons arrived in.
Arriving at the ship, Windblade explains her plan: by using the ship's systems for additional computing power, she'll be able to retry the cortical patch procedure, but when she begins to explain how they'll break in, she discovers that Bumblebee has already charged into the ship. Windblade follows, and finds Bumblebee playing with the ship's controls; hacking into the ship's mainframe, Windblade sets up another attempt to unscramble Bumblebee's memories, and uses her Cityspeaker skills to guide an apprehensive Bumblebee through the procedure. Inside his mind, a lucid Bumblebee learns how to tap into his undamaged memories, but despite Windblade's hopes that he'll be able to recover information relating to the location of the Ark, Bumblebee can only unscramble a fragmentary memory of the ship's launch.
On Cybertron, Bumblebee speeds toward the Ark as it prepares to launch. Though his voice box is damaged, Bumblebee is able to say goodbye to his best friend Windblade, even as a figure bids him to come aboard...
Having recovered a scrap of his old memories, Bumblebee finally remembers Windblade, recognizing her as his old friend, but this happy moment is cut short when the ship's communicator goes off. Decepticon commander Starscream demands to know the progress of his two scouts... only for Bumblebee, unaware of the danger, to seize the ship's communicator and blow their cover!

Notes
Transformers references
- Windblade describes herself as a "Cityspeaker," a term from the 2005 IDW continuity that first introduced Windblade. Here, Windblade notes that the term refers to her ability to communicate with "entities far greater than can be comprehended," a subject that's later addressed in a future episode.
- After losing his voice but prior to arriving on Earth, Bumblebee "speaks" in a series of mechanical warbles, akin to his portrayal in the Prime cartoon.
- The backstory alluded to here — in which the Autobots left Cybertron aboard the Ark in search of the AllSpark — seems as though it was based in part on the "Binder of Revelation," initially produced for the development of the "Aligned" continuity in early 2010. This particular bit of lore, in turn, owed something to the original tie-in lore of the 2007 live-action film.
Trivia
- TBD
Animation and technical errors
- After the Seekers try to shoot down Windblade and Bumblebee, Windblade's wings are extended out. In the next shot, where she rolls, her wings are back down, but then they are animated extending out straight after.
