Miranda Jones is a human from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy Continuity family.

Miranda Jones is the wife of Dr. Brian Jones, and the mother of Kicker Jones and Sally Jones. She provides a calm, gentle counterpoint to her husband's eccentricity, to the point where she baked cookies with her daughter while both her husband and son were working to help the Autobots, and as Terrorcon drones were closing in on their hiding place.

Now that's a mom.

Miranda Jones occasionally accompanied her husband and their son Kicker on their energon hunting expeditions, often with their younger child Sally in tow. The New Cybertron City

When Kicker and Sally became teenagers, Miranda lived with her two children on Ocean City, while her husband was conducting research on Cybertron. She was often worried about Kicker's brooding, loner nature. When Kicker confronted Demolishor and the Terrorcons on the moon, Miranda worried over her son from Earth, but her husband said he was confident that Kicker knew what he was doing. Kicker Beware!

Later, Dr. Jones christened the new joint Autobot-Earth Federation starship he designed as the Miranda II. Go for Unicron!

In a reverse of their earlier conversation, Miranda consoled her worried husband after they learned Kicker had gone out alone after Alpha Q. She reminded him that they had raised Kicker well, and they should trust him to take care of himself. Alpha Q: Identity

As the battle raged between Optimus Supreme and Unicron, Miranda was seen on Cybertron worrying about the fate of her son. Optimus Supreme

Miranda and her family were celebrating the defeat of Unicron on Cybertron when Megatron unexpectedly returned. Doctor Jones tried to get his family to safety aboard the shuttle to Earth, but Sally refused to leave her father behind. Unable to get to safety, Miranda and her family hid inside the massive air conditioning ducts when Six Shot and Demolishor assumed control of the Autobot command center. Miranda and Sally were forced to abandoned their makeshift home as the Decepticons came through, but Kicker soon located his mother and sister and got them to safety. Jetfire eventually transported Miranda and Sally safely back to Ocean Planet, and out of (immediate) harm's way. Galvatron Terror Miranda was seen on Ocean Planet when Kicker prepared to go searching for Unicron's remaining essence. Kicker and Misha had a moment over the video-phone, prompting Miranda, Sally, and Roablock to leave the room and give them some privacy.
