Marvel The Transformers comics

In robot mode, Red Alert carried a high-energy particle beam rifle Red Alert's Universe profile while Topspin's was described as "powerful". Topspin's Universe profile Runabout's particle beam rifle shot a high-energy beam of neutrons, Runabout's Universe profile and Divebomb's had an infrared sight. Divebomb's Universe profile

Runabout fired his particle beam rifle during a confrontation with Circuit Breaker at Independence Hall in Philadelphia and although she was injured in that battle, it would do him little good when she returned and trounced him and Runamuck with her jury-rigged Autobot suit shortly afterwards. Decepticon Graffiti!

During the Magnificent Six's final confrontation with Megadeath, the brutal Decepticon was hit by a volley of particle beams, proton accelerator rays, and concussion bolts. The Magnificent Six!

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Divebomb was armed with two particle beam rifles in both modes. Divebomb's More than Meets the Eye profile In robot mode, Topspin wielded a powerful particle beam rifle, Topspin's More than Meets the Eye profile as did Runabout. Runabout's More than Meets the Eye profile

The Transformers Red Alert came with a hand-held red particle beam rifle, which was included with the many reissues of his Generation 1 toy over the years.

Topspin came with a large silver particle particle beam rifle that he can hold in both robot and alternate modes. Somewhat bizarrely, his packaging bio calls it a twin ion impulse blaster instead.

Divebomb came with two particle-beam rifles that can plug into holes in his wings. This toy was also available as part of a Predaking giftset and has been reissued a number of times since.

Due to Runabout's autotransformation engineering, he features no articulation whatsoever, or even arms. As such, his particle beam rifle can only be plugged into what is presented as his shoulder.

When Alert got the Masterpiece treatment, his particle beam rifle was similarly upscaled.
