Pink alchemy
From Transformers Wiki
In times when energon is scarce, the Decepticons have been known to carry out a terrible practice to derive a version of the fuel from organic tissue itself. Known by various names, including "bleeding the meat" and pink alchemy, this gruesome process sees the living tissue of helpless organics, held captive in a catalytic chamber, peeled away and fed through a bio-reactor. The lives lost in the production of a single energon cube number in the thousands.

Impactor and Guzzle witnessed a group of helpless Simps being subjected to the process at the hands of Decepticon Harvesters. Escape
Following the end of the war, a Decepticon unit made up of the combined forces under the command of Snap Trap and Hun-Gar seized control of Sensensica, capital of the planet Temptoria, and carried out pink alchemy on the native Temptorians in their base, wryly named "The Battery". When the Autobots of the Lost Light arrived to battle them, Rewind and Tailgate discovered the captive Temptorians, and Tailgate set about disarming the bomb wired to the door of the chamber they were held in. He managed to drain the majority of the propex explosive from the bomb, and hoped the resultant detonation would be reduced enough in spread so as to not reach the Temptorians. Before & After
