When Shockwave's army of Ammonites threatened Cybertron, Bumblebee ordered an evacuation of the planet and told Blaster to radio every Cybertronian to head to the nearest hot spot, including Port Residua. Black Planet

When the Cybertron from the Functionist Universe threatened the primary universe, the crew of the Lost Light realized that they needed to use twelve Matrixes on the planet's twelve hot spots in order to destroy the Functionist Council and stop their onslaught. Roller, Chromedome, and Rewind headed to Port Residua, where they were met with resistance from the Functionists' forces. After a rousing speech from Rodimus, Roller was able to open his Matrix, sending its energies to Vector Sigma and obliterating the Functionist Council. A Spark Among Embers
