Prion (planet)

Prion is one of the legendary thirteen Cybertronian colony worlds, founded by the eponymous Titan of Micronus Prime. Home to the Mini-Cons, it was a peaceful place until the disastrous arrival of the Black Block Consortia.

2005 IDW continuity
Millions of years ago, according to Camien historical records and legend, Prion and the other 12 colony Titans departed Cybertron to found new outposts of Cybertronian civilization. First Contact Prion settled on a planet far away from Cybertron, and the new Transformers birthed from Prion's hot spot developed into a civilization of "Mini-Cons", The Permanent Revolution with the planet being named after the founding Titan. Starscream: The Movie Our Darkest Some 600,000 years ago, the Decepticon Shockwave would seed the planet with samples of Ore-3 as part of his Regenesis project. Ceremony The First Who Was Named
In the 21st century, the peaceful colony met its end when the robo-phobic Black Block Consortia sterilized the planet, killing Prion and leaving no survivors but Nickel, who was found by the Decepticon Justice Division days after the attack. The Permanent Revolution
Following his revival, Sentinel Prime brought his captive audience of Optimus Prime, Soundwave, and Sovereign to the wreckage of Prion on the eponymous planet, where Sentinel used Prion's remains as a backdrop as he monologued about his plans for Optimus. After producing a biopic about the life of Starscream, an offended Starscream arranged for Thundercracker to be tricked into visiting Prion so that he could be surreptitiously assassinated. Thundercracker managed to escape his killers and flee to Earth. Starscream: The Movie
