Prosecutor (Cyberverse)
From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the Quintesson drones from Cyberverse. For the Quintesson type from Generation 1, see Quintesson Prosecutor. |
- The Prosecutors are Quintesson-affiliated drones from the Cyberverse continuity family.
Savage and animalistic, the Prosecutors are the foot-soldiers of the Quintesson army, swarming across subjugated worlds and seizing victims for the Scientist's virtual reality. Though several times larger than even a Transformer, the average Prosecutor is no real threat to a well-trained warrior. But more will come if one happens upon you. More always come.

After the Quintessons had invaded Cybertron, the Prosecutors took the streets and rounded up any Cybertronians who had managed to escape being connected to the Scientist's parade. When they found Hot Rod and Clobber, the two managed to (eventually) crush the Prosecutors under debris. The Loop
After Clobber had managed to free Dead End, the pessimistic Decepticon roused the Prosecutors as he poked around the Quintesson compound. Though Dead End initially evaded the enforcers, the Prosecutors found him again when he attacked Hot Rod, the fight drawing their attention. The group retreated into their base only for the Prosecutors to cut their way in, sending them running. The chase eventually took the resistance to Maccadam's. Though the resistance was ready to make a stand there, the bar's cloaking module prevented the Prosecutors from detecting the structure. The Dead End
Suspicious about the bar's invisibility, Perceptor stepped out and called to a Prosecutor. Before it could reach him, he stepped back into the cloak, stopping it dead. While this happended, Hot Rod made repeated attempts to free Optimus Prime, the Quintessons located where he was hacking into the Loop from and sent the Prosecutors to detain him. Fortunately for the Autobot, he'd unknowingly freed Whirl from the Loop who arrived to shoot down the Prosecutors. The Sleeper
Learning from this, the Quintessons set the Prosecutors to actively prowl the area where the Cybertronians were imprisoned in. Though the drones were initially duped by dud helmets, they discovered the resistance when they made another pass. Though the resistance made short work of the Prosecutors, their sheer numbers overwhelmed them with Hot Rod being captured and brought before the Judge. After some verbal jousting with the Judge, Hot Rod fled, the Prosecutors being sent after him. With Whirl's help, Hot Rod managed to escape the ship and make it back to the safety of Maccadam's. The Trial
Enraged, the Judge rallied the Prosecutors and labelled Hot Rod as a priority target. As they swarmed the streets, Soundwave casually captured one for interrogation only for Hot Rod to inform him that Prosecutors knew nothing and that they would need to capture a Bailiff. During the raid, the Prosecutors were led away from their commanding officer, allowing the Cybertronians to abduct the Sharkticon. The Prisoner When the resistance went to confront the Scientist, Soundwave mimicked a Prosecutor's howl to open the otherwise impregnable doors to his lab. When Perceptor managed to disconnect all Cybertronians from the Loop, the Prosecutors moved in but failed to recapture any Transformer. The Scientist
To foster unity between the Autobots and Decepticons, Hot Rod and Soundwave reprogrammed Iaconus's training rooms to deploy drones in the Prosecutors' likeness. After the alliance was secured, the Cybertronians attempted to detonate a warhead facing off a swarm of Prosecutors which they made short work of. The Alliance After Iaconus' cloak had been disabled, the Judge led the Prosecutors and the Sharkticons to attack the War Titan. Though the attackers possessed the numerical advantage, they fell in droves to the Cybertronians. The Judge
Following the death of the Judge and the destruction of the Quintession flagship, the surviving Prosecutors flocked to the newly emerged Judge, Starscream, being ordered to round up the rest of the Cybertronian race before they were repainted in Starscream's colours. The End Of The Universe I When Windblade tried to awaken Iaconus, a squad of Prosecutors followed her into the War Titan only to be swiftly defeated by Maccadam. The End Of The Universe II
Once Iaconus had been reactivated and set against the brainwashed Croaton, Maccadam went to free the Cybertronian race, defeating the Prosecutor guards with his formidable alternate mode. The End Of The Universe III After Starscream had killed Iaconus and set Croaton on a rampage, the Prosecutors engaged the ground forces only to be vanquished towards the invasion's end and their master's demise. The End Of The Universe IV
After the invasion, Meteorfire had recovered one of the inactive Prosecutors and displayed it among his hoard of alien junk. Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire And Cosmos
Notes
- Rather than the classic design used in Generation 1, the Prosecutors in Cyberverse are modeled after the Sentinels from The Matrix.
- The Prosecutors were not identified as such until "The Trial".
