Age of Extinction film

Hound was known to carry at least three Quad Barrel Shotguns in his array of weaponry. One of which he wielded during the storming of KSI's Chicago headquarters, aiming it at Joshua Joyce with Brains perched atop. Aboard Lockdown's ship, he used the cocked shotgun to assert his dominance when Crosshairs planned to abandon the mission to save Optimus Prime, pressing its brightly glowing barrels deep into his face. Later, he used his shotguns again to hold back Galvatron's infected KSI prototypes, using up all of the ammunition and discarding them along the way. Age of Extinction

The Last Knight film

Nemesis Prime attacked Cade Yeager, Viviane Wembly, and the TRF aboard the Guardian Knights' ship with his Quad Barrel Shotgun, after he stole Quintessa's staff. After a brief, one-sided standoff, Nemesis, retracted his gun and stormed away, daring anyone present to challenge him. Soon after, during his fight with Bumblebee, Nemesis used the shotgun to hold Bumblebee at bay, before dropping it on the hull of the Guardian Knights' ship.

Hound carried at least two holstered shotguns during the push forward to the Ignition chamber. However, he did not use them at all, favoring instead his bicep missiles and Triple-barrel Phalanx cannon. The Last Knight

Part of the second wave of Age of Extinction: Generations Voyager Class toys, the Quad Barrel Shotgun was originally available with Hound. The pair of shotguns could also be used to combine with the six other weapons packaged with the figure to create a much larger gun. Like all of his other weapons, the shotguns are capable of being stored in both his vehicle and robot mode.

The TakaraTomy version, part of the second wave of Movie Advanced Series toys, features all of his weapons molded in a lighter gray plastic.

Platinum Edition Autobot Hound is a repainted version of the Voyager class figure above, featuring mostly screen-accurate details. Much like the TakaraTomy release of the figure above, all of the weapons were cast in a lighter shade of gray plastic.

Hound was released as a BigBadToyStore shared exclusive "Autobots United" set along with a G1-inspired redeco of Optimus Prime and screen-accurate redecos of Bumblebee, Drift, and Crosshairs.

Available only with the Japanese BD/DVD release of Transformers: Age of Extinction, Army Camo Hound is an even more screen accurate redeco of the Voyager Class toy. However, unlike all of the previous releases, all of his weapons were cast in black plastic.

This release was limited to only 3000 pieces.

Lost Age Series

A roughly Voyager-sized mold of Optimus Prime, the figure transforms into a Western Star "5700 OP" concept truck and in addition to his trailer, includes an array of weapons, two of which are Hound's quad-barreled shotguns. Unlike the other versions of the weapon, the handle is not on a hinge and cannot fold in.

Movie the Best Hound is a redeco of the Voyager Class Premier Edition figure, released in The Last Knight toyline. Rather than the weapons included with the Premier Edition toy, he instead comes with the weapons from the Age of Extinction Voyager class toy, with the addition of a new shield that becomes the truck-mode bed shell seen on Hound's vehicle mode in the movie.

Transformers (campaign item)

• Quad Barrel Shotgun (Promotional item, 2018-04-21)

Released just before the Japanese debut of Studio Series, the Quad Barrel Shotgun is a redeco of one of the previously mentioned Age of Extinction Hound's, utilizing the color scheme of Optimus Prime as seen in the The Last Knight film. It was given away for free by TakaraTomy if 4000 yen of Transformers products were bought from select stores starting on April 21 while supplies lasted. Despite starting long after the toyline was over, Takara's website characterized it as a promotion for The Last Knight.

Notes

• While the weapons originally went unnamed in the films and Hound toy releases, the name "Quad Barrel Shotgun" originated from concept artwork and weapons references used for Hound in Age of Extinction.
• Unlike most of Optimus Prime's weapons from the previous films, which store inside his back, the shotgun appears to emerge from his forearm similar to Ratchet's Machine gun.
