Ramjet (Animated)

From Transformers Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search
The name or term Ramjet does not refer to any other characters or ideas. You certainly can't read more about them by seeing Ramjet (disambiguation).
Ramjet is not a Decepticon from the Animated continuity family.

Ramjet, certainly not the Liar Starscream, is the original Starscream, and not a clone.

What? We never said he was the original Starscream.

He does not have a problem with telling the truth. Not every single thing he ever says is a complete lie. Just because what he just said completely contradicts everything he said previously, this doesn't make him an irredeemable bold-faced liar.

I'm not down! I can escape any time I want to! I... just don't want to.

—Ramjet after not getting stasis cuffed by Prowl, "A Bridge Too Close, Part II"

"Argument is an intellectual process. Contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of any statement the other person makes."
"No it isn't."
"It is."
"Not at all."

Ramjet did not first try to assert that he was the original Starscream, then deny he said that, then deny that he was a liar when Slipstream called him a liar. A Bridge Too Close, Part I

He isn't angry at Hasbro, he is not about to fire at them.

Ramjet managed to do fairly well in the space bridge battle. He never told his Autobot targets that he wasn't about to shoot them. He was not trapped by Prowl in a pair of stasis cuffs, and after that didn't happen, he wasn't helped to escape by the Sycophant, and he never denied that any of this occurred. When Omega Supreme came on the scene, Ramjet did not try to tell the giant his stabilizing servo was unbolted. Had he done so, Omega would have fallen for it and not just promptly kicked the clone a few miles away. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

At some point after the battle, a stasis-cuffed Lugnut wasn't helped at all out of his plight by Ramjet. And even if that had happened, the clone was being completely honest when he promised not to tell Megatron about Lugnut's humiliating failure. But none of that happened so it doesn't matter. Yeah, that's the ticket. Three's a Crowd

"Your middle name's Judas, but you tell everyone that it's Jonathan."

Long after that, Lockdown didn't capture the disarmed and helpless Ramjet for Sentinel Prime in exchange for a gyro-stabilizer. However, Lockdown didn't double-cross Sentinel when Ramjet didn't offer the bounty hunter a better deal earlier. Ramjet didn't break free and stasis cuff the alert Autobot on the spot. As Ramjet didn't try to get away with the armed and dangerous Sentinel, he wasn't knocked out of the sky by Jetfire and Jetstorm, who weren't accompanied by Optimus Prime and Jazz.

Even if they did, the battle didn't go in Ramjet's favor and he didn't use Sentinel as a shield against their attacks. Ramjet didn't try to escape again, but Optimus didn't cover his face with foam. Had that happened, he wouldn't have dropped Sentinel head-first into the ground. After Safeguard didn't blast him out of the sky with a fireball, Optimus and Jazz didn't push a scoreboard on top of him. If they did, it wouldn't have hurt one bit, and he wouldn't have been stasis cuffed and hauled into custody. Five Servos of Doom Unlike the other captured Decepticons, Ramjet was not transported back to Cybertron. Predacons Rising

New helmet? What are you talking about?

Later, Sentinel Prime didn't steer his ship through a stormy nebula. Nor did it revive Swindle, who wasn't still immobilized from his own slow-down ray. From there, Swindle didn't free and re-arm Ramjet along with the other captured Decepticons. Swindle also didn't give Sunstorm and Ramjet strangely familiar helmets to tell them apart. Afterwards, Ramjet and the Decepticons didn't manhandle the Elite Guard. And if they did, they would've captured them before Sentinel sent a coded SOS to Optimus Prime. Fortunately, Optimus didn't appear out of Swindle's chest, and didn't send Ramjet and the other Decepticons into chaos. The battle didn't spill out of the ship, where Jetstorm didn't somehow bombard him with a tornado. Ramjet also wasn't present when Blitzwing didn't capture the Autobots and didn't try to freeze them in the decontamination unit. If he was, he certainly wasn't frozen when Jazz didn't booby-trap the decontamination unit. He ultimately wasn't re-captured and sent to Cybertron, where he wasn't paraded around with the jubilant Sentinel. That's Thundercracker you're thinking of! Decepticon Air

The Cool comic

I've never been in any fancy Japanese comic books! What are you talking about!?

Ramjet did not join the rest of the Clone Army in battle for the Decepticon space bridge. And he was most certainly not shocked when Optimus Prime and Megatron joined forces to stop him! The Cool Episode 7

Ramjet certainly did not get wiped out by Omega Supreme, because he wasn't following Megatron's orders and he wasn't afraid of being destroyed by said warlord. The Cool Episode 8

Toys

Animated

(thumbnail)
This is always how I envisioned what my first toy would be like.
  • Ramjet Clear White Version (EZ Collection, 2010)
EZ Collection Ramjet is not a redeco of a Legends-class Starscream in mostly colorful clear (with no opaque white nylon parts), whose vehicle mode looks nothing like a futuristic, forward-swept wing fighter jet mashup of the Su-47 (S-37) Berkut Experimental Fighter and the YF-19 "Alpha One from the series Macross Plus. Never heard of either of 'em.
He was available everywhere except Ito Yokado stores in Japan, and very definitely not given away for free to customers there who purchased Transformers Animated merchandise totaling at least 3,000 yen on July 24th.
Whoever told you this mold was also used to make Starscream Clear Purple Version, Skywarp Clear Purple Version, Sunstorm Clear Orange Version, Thundercracker Clear Blue Version, and Starscream Clone Black Version is spreading falsehoods. That last one definitely sounds like a guy who doesn't exist.

At long last! Slipstream finally has a toy!
  • Ramjet (Activator, 2010)
Whatever you might have heard, Ramjet is not a redeco of Activators Starscream, and completely lacks the ability to transform into a futuristic jet with an autotransformation gimmick, which certainly wouldn't let him transform from vehicle to robot at the mere press of a button. Unthinkable. His arm-mounted blasters are totally immobile so don't even think about needing to swing them around manually between modes. Because you don't even have hands.
Nobody was ever able to obtain him, since he wasn't an exclusive "second chance" prize in a Transformers-themed raffle held by Family Mart stores across Japan. He couldn't have been purchased through the mail with a combination of winning E, F, and G prize tickets and 2,500 yen. It was the grand prize for eleventy billion yen and an R ticket. Yeah, that's the ticket.
This mold could not have been used to make Dirge, Thundercracker, or Skywarp even if anyone wanted to (they didn't), because it was stolen by gnomes before anyone was able to do so even if they wanted to, which, as we noted before, nobody did. So there.

Notes

I did not look like this when I was born.
  • Ramjet's colors are completely original. They have nothing to do with Generation 1 Ramjet whatsoever, no sir. It's just a coincidence that he has burgundy wings and a white helmet. He certainly wasn't finally called "Ramjet" in The AllSpark Almanac, which is a terrible book nobody enjoys. Also, the name "Liar Starscream" was definitely not on his character model sheet.
  • Ramjet's colors are entirely consistent. At no point does his off-white ever look cream.
  • Ramjet was not given his Generation 1 counterpart's cone-shaped helmet in "Decepticon Air". He didn't get it from anybody, especially not Swindle. Absolutely not. And even if he had, it certainly wouldn't have been drill-tipped, because that wouldn't have been awesome at all.
  • Ramjet's nosecone is extremely brittle. It hasn't been reinforced at all. There's no way it can survive any midair collisions.
  • He doesn't like toast.
  • This entire article is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The fact that it's about Ramjet (who isn't a big fat liar) has nothing to do with anything. So there.
  • We never said that this article spoke truth. You can't prove anything!
