Replica AllSpark

The replica AllSpark is a product of Starscream's somewhat dubious initiative to create an exact copy of the lost artifact using Sector Seven's exhaustive data, then jump-start it with a human robot sacrifice. It was constructed in the city of Trypticon on Cybertron, during the aftermath of Megatron's death at the conclusion of the battle in Mission City. While it looks exactly like the original AllSpark, it requires some sort of kick-start of energy to power it up so it can bring new life to Cybertron.

Following the death of Megatron, Starscream retrieved Frenzy from Hoover Dam. Frenzy's memory contained detailed information on the AllSpark, which Starscream intended to use to recreate the device. He transmitted the data ahead to Cybertron. The Reign of Starscream #2 Construction of the replica AllSpark was therefore able to be started using a combination of drones and slave labor and was well under way by the time Starscream himself arrived there. The Reign of Starscream #3 After a period of about a month, the replica neared completion, though the Autobot prisoners working on it were nearing the point of exhaustion.
When it came time to activate the replica AllSpark, five prisoners-of-war, Signal Flare, Warpath, Elita-One, Crankcase, and Grindcore, were strapped to it. The Reign of Starscream #4 An energy pulse was used to extinguish all five lives simultaneously, then gather the energy released at the moment of death and store it in a generator at the cube's base. Once fed back into the cube this energy was supposed to open a connection through which would flow an infinite wellspring of power, much like the self-renewing energy source of a Transformer's own spark. Unfortunately for Starscream, the grand activation didn't happen quite that way, leaving them with a large, completely-useless metal cube. Then Dreadwing and Ramjet turned on Starscream and Thundercracker, and a group of Autobots under Arcee launched a surprise attack.
That pretty much spelled the end of the whole plan. The replica AllSpark itself was destroyed when the Nemesis crashed on Trypticon, obliterating the city. The Reign of Starscream #5
