Riotgear is a Decepticon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Riotgear is a Decepticon under the command of Cyclonus. He can combine with his commander and his teammates Skyjack, Cyberwarp, and Treadshock to form Galvatronus. He also managed his way into the Autobot High Council with his teammates to put their schemes into motion.

Riotgear met with his fellow High Council members to discuss the immient fruition of their plans, and silently watched as Cyclonus and Cyberwarp debated the morality of the Council's actions. Enemy of My Enemy

When the Bee Team breached Council chambers, the Decepticons engaged them in battle only to be defeated, with Riotgear being knocked out by Drift, Slipstream, and Jetstorm. They combined into Galvatronus to even the odds but were defeated due to Cyberwarp's reservations. Freedom Fighters

• Galvatronus (Team Combiner, 2017)

Available only in the Robots in Disguise Galvatronus Team Combiner 5-pack, Riotgear transforms into a Cybertronian off-road vehicle in a few simple steps. He can also convert into a leg for a Team Combiner super-robot, though his nominal placement is as the left leg of Galvatronus.

He is a retool of his teammate Treadshock, with a different headsculpt.

Riotgear uses the universal connector joint shared by all Team Combiners and Crash Combiners, but since he can only form a leg in combined mode, this can lead to some interesting-looking combinations.

• Riotgear's light-bent model is a recolor of one of the Thirteen members from "Battlegrounds, Part 1" (second from the left), with a new head.
