Scalpel (Animated)
From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the Animated character. For the Revenge of the Fallen character, see Scalpel (ROTF). |
- Scalpel is a Decepticon from the Animated continuity family.
Doctor Scalpel is equal parts medic, engineer, and butcher. While he is not as skilled as his Autobot counterpart Perceptor, he makes up for it with a complete lack of ethics. Scalpel excels at taking things apart, whether they be Autobot, organic, or even his fellow Decepticons. This becomes troublesome as his enthusiasm for dissecting things is far greater than his ability to reassemble them once he's done.

Despite Starscream's insistence that copying the Autobot scientist's design schematics would not be enough to turn defeat into victory, Megatron allowed the project to continue. Ultimately, Starscream had the right idea all along, as the end result was complete failure at achieving the goals it was created for.
