Skywave
From Transformers Wiki
- Skywave is an Autobot Micromaster from the Zone portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Skywave (スカイウェイブ Sukaiweibu) is an incredibly busy bot. With most of the Autobot Micromasters being land-based units, Skywave takes up the slack in being an expert fighter in the air, on the sea, and even in space, thanks to his transforming aircraft carrier/jet vehicle. In fact, he's so busy and stretched so thin at times, he has special dispensation for a vacation once every month just to recuperate.

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
- Skywave (Micro TF DX, 1990)
- ID number: C-340
- Accessories: Aircraft carrier/jet vehicle, 2 cannons
- Released in the Zone portion of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline, Skywave is identical to the Hasbro-release Decepticon Flattop, transforming into a purple-and-gray F4 Phantom fighter jet. He has functional landing gear wheels in the rear, but has a peg in place of the front landing gear. Skywave is unusual for a Micro TF DX (Deluxe) in that he is not a "towing" vehicle with a large trailer accessory, but a fully-independent vehicle on his own with a fully-independent, non-towed aircraft carrier transport.
- The carrier transforms into a "Battle Mode" jet, with the bow runways folding out as the wings. Skywave can either clip into the open cockpit area while standing or sit inside, with a "control bar" keeping him from falling out. The large laser cannons can be mounted on either the large wings or the smaller rear wings. The wheels that were once on the carrier deck now serve as the wheels for the jet mode.
