Sparkplug, or an early model of the robot dog, was one of Isaac Sumdac's earlier inventions. Although Sumdac was initially disappointed with his creation, the little dog paved the way for bigger and more useful inventions. Dispatches
Sparkplug liked to chew on Sari's key. Transform and Roll Out Dispatches Professor Sumdac later claimed that he built Sparkplug as a gift for Sari on her birthday. He hasn't been seen much since Sari took an interest in much cooler robots. Luckily for him, Isaac still loves him. Sound and Fury
He was decidedly less cute once Henry Masterson got his grubby gamer mitts on him. The Headmaster reprogrammed and armed both Sparkplug and Tutor Bot before turning them loose against Optimus and Sentinel Prime.
