When do we see Scorpius with hands? I know the J'nwan Climb mentions Sandstorm's fingers, although we don't know he has his beast mode yet. -LV 00:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

That's the part. And since Windrazor knew who Sandstorm was immediately, that should be the same form he was in in the comic. Whereas Leonicus didn't recognize footage of Sandstorm to be Scorpius (or at least not at first). It's pretty clear his physical appearance changed before assuming his sandstorm identity, not after.-207.224.83.190 01:25, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm not certain that's all as cut and dried as you say, but I'm willing to buy it. But I don't buy that that means Scorpius had hands any more than Sandstorm does. We don't know what Scorpius' robot mode looked like. -LV 01:51, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
He's mentioned as clacking his pincers in acknowledgment in Part 1 (covenant,) just like BW Scorponok sometimes did. -Derik 02:17, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
That could be in beast mode, though. -LV 03:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Ooh... point. I'll give Covenant a re-read when I go back to make some upcoming changes, and if there's nothing to indicate the Zvestemo is meeting in robot mode I'll nix the trivia note. -Derik 04:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

IDW

So I read his profile in the Sourcebook, and want to know if it should be integrated into the profile or in a fiction section (it does seem to set him up as a normal predacon) User:Eire 18.41 Aug 7 09 (UTC)

When it comes to the IDW profiles that deviate from the original personas of the characters, we've been relegating that info to the IDW fiction section and adding a sourcelink back to the Beast Wars Sourcebook so readers know where that version of the character's personality/history originated. --DrSpengler 13:47, 7 August 2009 (EDT)

Astrology or astronomy?

Is there official confirmation that the Covenant's names come from the astrological signs and not the constellations of the zodiac? I'm asking mostly because Scorpius actually is the constellation's exact name (Scorpio is the only astrological sign that doesn't have the same name as the constellation.), and "Scorpius is named after the astrological sign Scorpio, which is named after the constellation Scorpius" seems unnecessarily recursive. NovaSaber (talk) 02:30, 8 September 2016 (EDT)

I'd say that they're based on the astrological signs rather than the constellations because there are twelve of them, not thirteen. If they'd included Ophiuchatron amongst their number there'd be more of a case for that. --Emvee (talk) 03:00, 8 September 2016 (EDT)
