Talk:Starscream (WFC)

The soldiers on Starscream's station were all Autobots. One would assume "Autobot" to be the default faction of all Transformers prior to Megatron's rebellion. Additionally, Jetfire names Starscream and his goons as "traitors" and that the {Autobot leader} Zeta Prime would hear of this betrayal. Wouldn't that make Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp Autobots originally? --FFN 04:46, 3 July 2010 (EDT)

The description for the achievement on that level (the one where you have to kill all but one prisoner) refers to the prisoners as neutrals. Plus, their funky Tron lines are yellow, while Autobots are red and Decepticons are purple. -- Semysane 05:48, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
Ahh, I didn't note the yellow lights. My mistake. --FFN 10:57, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
It might still be worth noting on the Neutral page. -- Semysane 16:24, 3 July 2010 (EDT)

Part of the Ambush/Bodyguard?

Reading back through Exodus: Starscream was not really a part of the attack on the Casino, as he's surprised and puzzled by some of what's happening, though he clearly knewn something was up, with a planned meeting with Megatron after he has secured the old Prime somewhere "safe". Basically, like in much of the book, he's skirting the line, leaving his options open to join either side. My question though, it seems a bit like he might have been there "officially" to guard the Prime. Like a lot in Exodus it's a bit vague though. Did anyone else get the vibe that he was specifically there with Sentinel as a bodyguard? (At least from Sentinel's point of view). --ZacWilliam 19:43, 19 July 2010 (EDT)

I definitely got the impression he was there to guard Sentinel Prime. Why else would the Prime have gone with him?--RosicrucianTalk 19:49, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
Pretty much answered iself later in the chapter. Starscream was definately there as sentinel's bodyguard, and apparently had worked as such for a good while before. We need to add that to the article.--ZacWilliam 19:52, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
I have done it, but like all the Decepticons' motives in Exodus it is meant to be ambigious because these are inherently untrustworthy characters. Starscream may well have been aware of the attack and used it as the opportunity to deliver Sentinel to Kaon, with Sentinel's cowardice at Altihex only reinforcing his motive. Michael Jackson

For anyone who's looked at the Amazon preview of the Prime comic, it appears just as Dark Energon turned Megatron into a Wraith, Starscream has turned into Michael Jackson. We need to have every caption of him in the show to tribute Wacko Jacko in some way. Alientraveller 07:03, 7 September 2010 (EDT)

Starscream Picture

I have a new picture for Starscream but I cannot upload it. Could someone help? Here is the link. http://www.seibertron.com/images/cartoon/tf-prime-starscream-5.jpg LordDalek 11:39, 30 November 2010 (EST)

Contradiction

Isn't it easily resolved as "He was a scientist, but isn't now"?12.53.10.226 08:51, 29 November 2010 (EST)

The passage implied Starscream and Megatron had no scientific experience to understand that Dark Energon could be made by infecting regular Energon. Starscream seems like a scientist in Prime so hopefully the contradiction will be put to bed soon. Alientraveller 09:55, 29 November 2010 (EST)
That doesn't "put to bed" the contradictions present within the Exodus novel itself, which is what that note is about. --Detour 09:59, 29 November 2010 (EST)

Picture

I am having trouble uploading a good screenshot of Starscream. Would someone mind helping?LordDalek 09:09, 4 December 2010 (EST)

Cockpit chest

Is this the first Starscream to NOT have his vehicle mode cockpit and/or nose cone located on his robot mode chest or is it just me?
- ¡Usa El Queso! 10:55 AM, 12 March 2011 A.D.

Actually Machine Wars Screamer's cockpit became his legs, see here. It's so obscure though I'll add it to the notes. Alientraveller 10:59, 12 March 2011 (EST)
Just you. Please don't, AT, we've already REMOVED it from the notes before. --ItsWalky 11:00, 12 March 2011 (EST)

It, if you look closely enough, becomes his abdominal area.

Elite Guard?

in Exodus, Starscream (along with Skywarp and Thundercracker ) served as sentinel Prime's bodyguards. In Aligned Continuity, The Elite Guard were defined as the bodyguards of the Prime and the Council. Does this mean that Starscream was on the elite guard? (Note that Starscrem lead the Sky Command, and Elite Gaurdsmen were often seen in charge of such things in Animated Continuities. Lush City 01:27, 20 December 2011 (EST)

Eating Birds

In the live chat with Steve Blum and Jeff Kline yesterday, Steve Blum said that Starscream has swallowed a bird by accident while flying. Should that maybe be added to the notes? Or should it just be taken as a joke? --Juko 16:25, 7 February 2012 (EST)

I'd take it as a joke, since Starscream apparently can't fly in robot mode in Prime, and jets have no mouths. --King Starscream 13:45, 4 April 2012 (EDT)

Leg fins

I've got the Japanese release of the FE Starscream toy, and the instructions don't mention the tiny little winglets that can be deployed from the back of his legs for slightly increased show accuracy. The Japanese instructions are usually better than the Hasbro ones for stuff like this, so I wanted to see if they were mentioned in those instructions before adding a note. LiamK 16:22, 14 February 2012 (EST)

No, they were not, apparently. Nice find! Inkblot 21:45, 14 February 2012 (EST)

Voyager figure

Looks to me like the detailing on the weapon he comes with suggests it's a retooling of Prime's Powerizer gun. The only difference seems to be the more "alien" gun barrel. --King Starscream 13:50, 9 March 2012 (EST)

Yeah, it isn't. --King Starscream 13:39, 4 April 2012 (EDT)

Neutral

I would just like to mention that Starscream is often kept in the "Decepticons" category on episode pages. Unless he rejoins them, remember to put him in "Other" first.

You can be a Decepticon without being in Megatron's group. I imagine Starscream still considers himself a Decepticon, regardless. --ItsWalky 12:54, 16 June 2012 (EDT)
Well, he did claim to be "no longer affiliated with that entity" in "Operation Bumblebee, Part 1", when Silas called him a Decepticon. - Chris McFeely 15:07, 16 June 2012 (EDT)
1) It's Starscream. He'll say anything, and does, if it gets him on someone's good side. 2) He's still got the Decepticon logo on his chest. 3) Airachnid is considered a Decepticon in "Predatory," even though she'd been a free agent for however-long. --ItsWalky 16:27, 16 June 2012 (EDT)

Autobot

Was Starscream an Autobot? He seemed to have a connection, as Jetfire angrily called him a "traitor."--24.69.64.254 21:01, 31 August 2012 (EDT)

Starscream's Underwater

There isn't any ocean underneath Antarctica. Only on the out skirting ice shelves and there aren't any US bases there or any for that matter. Chances are Starscream was thrown into one of the many salt water sub-surface lakes under the surface of Antarctica. [1] --50.136.104.227 09:52, 1 September 2012 (EDT)

Actually, McMurdo Base is right on the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf. That said, it's also within sight of the unfrozen ocean too, which creates an entire other problem. --King Starscream 21:01, 15 March 2013 (EDT)

Starscream's Cockpit

I just found Starscream's cockpit. Can I put it on the Notes? And if I do, should I put a circle around it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ExplodingEggs 2.00 (talkcontribs).

You should probably just give it back to him. He's probably cold.--Carrion 01:11, 14 September 2012 (EDT)

Plane mode

I have seen tons of military planes before (for example, SR-71 blackbirds, F-22 eagles), but what is Starscream's? Yeah, I know, it's a military plane, but it's a single engine. If you go to a toy store & look at the military jets, they're mostly double engines & little to no single engines. So if anyone finds out, post it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Femtransfan (talkcontribs).

As the section for his first Prime toy already states, Starscream's altmode is based on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Also, it's the F-22 Raptor, Eagle is the name for the older F-15 (the original Starscream's altmode). --Khajidha 04:52, 25 April 2013 (EDT)
