"The Empyrean Suite" is said to have been written by Eucryphia as a celebration of Prima's Citadel of Light in the ancient days of the Thirteen Tribes. The Permanent Revolution Rung was heard to whistle it on his way to work, Stet and Ultra Magnus regarded it as one of his favorite pieces of music. The Gloaming
Alas, the song's reputation was forever tainted in Cybertronian society when it was adopted by the music-loving Tarn as the "theme song" of the murderous Decepticon Justice Division. The Permanent Revolution Tarn used the song during his time as warden of Grindcore to block out the screams of those prisoners he had executed and smelted down. The amnesiac Skids, who was an inmate at the time, Speak, Memory! (Part 2) heard the music running constantly in his mind, but couldn't identify it until he let Chromedome perform mnemosurgery on him; recognizing the song and what it meant, Chromedome told Skids he was better off never learning its significance. Who's Afraid of the DJD? Swerve played "The Empyrean Suite" for the comatose Ultra Magnus following Overlord's rampage, commenting on the unfortunate implications it now had. Ratchet found it distracting while he was trying to reattach Magnus's legs, and asked Swerve to turn it off. The Gloaming
When the Decepticon Justice Division had amassed outside of the Necrobot's fortress to face down Team Rodimus, Tarn began blaring the song full-blast to make it very clear to the trapped crew that their day of reckoning had arrived. Rage, Rage
