Four completely different Tlalakans.

Tlalakans form the civilization on the planet known as Tlalakan, presumably located somewhere relatively close to Earth.[1] As a community, they have access to the Well of Transformation, a pool of water which allows them to take on any form they wish, though typically they use it to adopt either a bipedal form for surface living, or a tailed "merfolk" form for living underwater. They live in an underwater city beneath the sea, though it's not clear if this is their traditional habitat or they use the sea as a natural defence against aggressors.

But can he talk to fishes?

During the Third Cybertronian War, Tlalakan was invaded and conquered by the Decepticons. They installed a drone named Deceptitran as ruler of the planet. Using an army of drones, Deceptitran was able to capture a good number of the Tlalakans, though the drones were unable to go underneath the water, which was where the Tlalakans lived in an undersea city.

Deceptitran used his Tlalakan prisoners to work on his floating city and to collect energon, even to the point of drawing it directly from their bodies. Eventually they revolted against their drone overlords and escaped, prompting Deceptitran to contact the Decepticons on Earth for assistance. The communication was also intercepted by the Autobots, prompting a group of them to investigate.

Bumblebee was promptly captured by the Decepticons, resulting in the Tlalakans and Autobots launching a rescue mission, which unfortunately resulted in Laserbeak tracking them back to the undersea city. The Decepticons subsequently attacked the city, causing much destruction. An concurrent attack on Deceptitran's own city led by Seaspray and Alana drew the Decepticons away. With the destruction of the Energon supply and loss of Deceptitran, the Decepticons fled the planet.

Tlaloc thanked the Autobots for helping to free them from Decepticon rule. Sea Change

Wings Universe

Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.

According to Tornado, Squadron X leader Macabre did not trust Ferak any more than a bad soldering job on a Tlalakan-built circuit board. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur

Notes

  • Tlālōcān is a heaven in Aztec mythology for those who had a water-related death. The Tlalakans also have an aesthetic that seems inspired by Aztec and Mayan cultures.

Foreign names

  • Japanese: Tlalakan-jin (トララカン人 Torarakanjin, "Tlalakan people")
