After his intended theft of some newtronium was foiled by the Autobots, Drath enlisted some old-fashioned backup in the form of the former leader of an international terrorist organization, Old Snake. Drath's offer intrigued the old coot, and soon enough he was on the gangster's payroll, aiding in disposing of four of the Autobots by transferring their minds into synthoid bodies.
Although Drath originally intended to destroy the Autobots' robot forms, Snake persuaded him that the bodies could be utilised in better ways. After the robot bodies were modified to allow humans to drive them, Snake pointed out that there was still a city full of Autobots who could threaten Drath's plans. Drath had his men load the four Autobot forms with explosives, intending to blow up Autobot City. Drath's girlfriend Michelle lured the humanised Rodimus Prime into a trap, giving the crime lord an opportunity to gloat, but Rodimus was able to overcome both Drath and his thugs. Meanwhile, Springer and Ultra Magnus foiled the attack on Autobot City.
Once the Autobots were returned to their robot bodies, Drath and his men were taken away by the police. Only Human
