After delivering Galvatron to the authorities, Optimus Prime spent some time peacefully exploring the galaxy before returning to Earth to protect it from threats who were attracted by the spatio-temporal nexus in Earth's vicinity. With several of his Autobots, he formed the Dimensional Patrol. Unfortunately, Optimus and several members of the Dimensional Patrol were abducted by Unicron to fight in the Cauldron. Thanks to the efforts of Optimus Primal, Silverbolt, and Trailbreaker, Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus escaped from imprisonment, forming Omega Prime to take out the Cauldron drones in the way. Along with the other abductees, they were sent back to their home reality Escape although Omega Prime was soon called into service again by the Alpha Trion of Primal's reality. Homecoming

Dimensional Patrol members Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/13 Side Burn, Prowl, and Landfill were intercepted mid-abduction by a device built by Child of Primus scientist Rhinox to deflect Unicron's abduction attempts. They ended up on an icy planetoid, where they teamed up with other victims of Unicron, some temporally-displaced Autobots, and a Child rescue team to fend off Unicron's Minions. At the conclusion of the Universe War, Omega Prime fled the collapsing Cauldron through a dimensional portal, expecting to find himself with his comrades on Primal's technorganic Cybertron, but he was diverted to Aurex 405.0 Epsilon to assist Primus's defenders in the Unicron Singularity crisis. At some point, the spark of the Waspinator of Malgus 508.6 Zeta was blown into transwarp space by a transwarp explosion. Wasp's spark was discovered and extracted from transwarp space by the Jhiaxus of Viron 903.0 Beta, who used it to power a protoform blank that would become Thrust. Alongside Obsidian, Thrust was a member of Jhiaxus's Destructicons, who were the most tenacious foes of the Elite Guard. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/09
