Warrior's Gate was wiped off the planet in the rebirth initiated by Vector Sigma and the Matrix of Leadership. Cyclonus mourned its loss, along with those of other locations. When the Cybertron from the Functionist Universe threatened the primary universe, the crew of the Lost Light realized that they needed to use twelve Matrixes on the planet's twelve hot spots in order to destroy the Functionist Council. Swerve was sent to Warrior's Gate with Misfire and Grimlock, where they were met with resistance from the Functionists' forces. After losing an arm, Swerve was able to open the Matrix with Misfire's help, sending its energies into Vector Sigma's chamber and destroying the Functionist Council. A Spark Among Embers
