Wil Wheaton (July 29, 1972 - ) is an American actor. He is known for portraying Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Gordie Lachance in Stand By Me, a fictionalized version of himself on The Big Bang Theory, and being eaten by a shark in Sharknado 2: The Second One. He also hosts the board game-focused web series TableTop, and has done voice-over for a variety of animation such as Teen Titans, Ben 10, Legion of Superheroes, Stretch Armstrong & the Flex Fighters and The Secret of NIMH.
