2005 IDW continuity
The ship itself cost Wipe-Out a fortune but he considered it money well spent considering the speed with which the craft could perform quantum jumps. In 2018, Wipe-Out was approached by First Aid's group who chartered the ship as transport to Mederi where the Lost Light was located. When the group arrived, they wound up saving Team Rodimus and the Scavengers from the Lost Light's crew, now mutated into sparkeaters. When the orbiting Lost Light fired its last proton missile, the Q-ship suffered damaged to its port wings. While most of the group led the sparkeaters away, Rodimus oversaw the hasty repairs before the Q-ship launched after the Lost Light, docking in the unguarded shuttle bay four. When explosives in the ceiling dumped the oil reservoir's contents into the shuttle bay, the Q-ship was buried beneath the liquid. A Dance Before Dying
