Even after being granted life and mobility by the AllSpark, the Xbox 360 robot is still only good for playing Halo and Forza.

Transformers film

As a human was walking down the streets of Mission City, carrying his new Xbox 360, as humans are known to do, especially when giant robots are fighting, a sudden surge from the AllSpark granted it life. The new robot's arms and legs burst free of the packaging, and the shocked human threw it away before it could fully escape. Transformers

The Xbox 360 robot's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the activity book "Look and Find Transformers."

Titan movie comics

When a kid asked what happened to his robot, Starscream assumes that Lennox did a "heavy-calibre, discarding-SABOT retooling" of him, "all over the sidewalk." #14's Star Screams

After the defeat of Megatron and the destruction of the AllSpark, US Army Rangers and the Autobots mopped up the remaining creatures mutated by the AllSpark's energy. Captain Lennox spotted the Ybox and fired upon it as it was minding its own business, forcing the creature to flee into an abandoned minivan. Ironhide promptly destroyed the van and fished out the creature's remains. Alliance #1

Aw, c'mon buddy, Nuts & Bolts wasn't that bad!
  • When the robot comes alive, it makes the 360's signature turning-on "shwooom!" noise.
  • In an Easter egg on the 2-disc edition of the DVD, a deleted scene would have had the Xbox 360 robot ripping off a woman's dress in the street. Animation of the Xbox 360 robot was never made for the scene, so his only visual cue remains the arms popping out of the box.
  • The guy carrying the Xbox 360 is veteran character actor Bob Stephenson. You've probably seen him in about a billion commercials or a recurring role as a small-town sheriff on CBS's Jericho.
  • Due to copyright reasons, the Xbox is depicted as a fictional Ybox console in both his appearance in "Look and Find Transformers" and Transformers: Alliance.
