Christian Lee(I)
- Actor
Christian J. Lee, born Christian J. Lee on July 5th, began acting at
the mortifying age of 7. His first taste of theater was at the Laguna
Moulton Playhouse, (which Harrison Ford frequented in his early acting
days), in Laguna Beach, California. Finding an undeniable affinity for
performing, he locked himself in his closet for 16 years and
communicated with no one. (That's not true of course, it was actually
an abandoned underground barbeque pit and it was 17 years). He went on
to star in both musical and dramatic theater in the following years. By
age 8 he was starring in multiple industrial films and began doing TV
commercials, films, modeling, and voice work. After H.S. he was chosen
as the #1 pick for the B.F.A. program at U.S.C., located in one of the
safest and most beautiful areas of Los Angeles, Watts. Dodging bullets
and avoiding stab wounds, he studied acting and English. Studying
Shakespeare and the various methods intensely with the likes of Academy
Award winner Maximilian Schell, and actors like Kevin Kline and John
Ritter he starred in many classical and contemporary plays at U.S.C..
After graduating in four years and having become classically trained in
acting, voice/singing, dialects, and movement- he did what all
well-studied thespians do, stand-up comedy. Stand-up became a way of
honing his skills as a comedic and dramatic actor. Christian has opened
for Howie Mandel, Arsenio Hall, Dane Cook, and many others. He has
played all over Los Angeles and many other states and most of
Canada-even New Brunswick. Christian has studied the craft of acting
for over 19 years. Thus, when he is not working as an actor or an emcee
touring the world, he is surfing, skimboarding, skiing, mountain
biking, or playing drums in whatever band he is in at that
moment.
