Originally from Normandy, Senior Colorist Damien Vandercruyssen creates some of entertainment's most unique looks for titles such as his most recent credits: A24's Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Focus Feature's Armageddon Time, Netflix's Bardo: False Chronicles of a Handful of Truths, and Amazon's Outer Range.
Damien began his career after studying cinematography at the prestigious ENS Louis Lumiere film school near Paris. Damien's expertise in cinematography and color science have led to regular collaborations with highly regarded directors including Sofia Coppola, the Safdie brothers, and Trey Edward Shults along with cinematographers Philippe Le Sourd, Drew Daniel, and Darius Khondji.
Damien's work on Apple TV+'s Lisey's Story garnered him a 2021 Filmlight award for Best Color Grading in TV/episodic.
