The movie takes place in San Francisco in the mid of December up to Christmas. San Francisco is completely green, but in reality it's mostly green in December. However, in the outdoor scenes you can hear loud birds' singing, and singing birds don't sing in December ever.

(approx. 2 minute mark) When Hanna is saying goodbye to Ben in the airport, there are visible bilingual English/French signs in the background. It is obviously a Canadian, not American, airport.

An email from Carrie to Hanna telling Hanna about Carrie's story idea reads to "Hannah" instead of "Hanna". There is no final h in the character's name.
