Catalysts 2025 Travel Award—Winner Announced

Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

Dear Colleagues,
As the Editor-in-Chief of Catalysts (ISSN: 2073-4344), I am pleased to announce the winner of the Catalysts Travel Award. The award has been granted to Ana Orozco Saumell, a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry (ICP), University Autonomous of Madrid (UAM), Spain, who will attend the 16th European Congress on catalysis (EuropaCat 2025) to be held from 31 August to 5 September 2025 in Trondheim, Norway.
Notably, Catalysts will also be actively participating in this significant event. We encourage you to look out for our journal announcements, where we will soon disclose the details of our booth. This will provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to engage with us and learn more about the latest developments in the field.
As the awardee, she will receive an honorarium of CHF 800 and an electronic certificate.
With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winner on her accomplishments.
