The document provides instructions for connecting an Ecobrake device to control boards for continuous duty Sassi brakes. The Ecobrake device economizes the brake by providing full voltage for an adjustable 2 to 8 second period when a contact is closed, after which it provides reduced voltage. The instructions explain how to power the Ecobrake device, connect alternating and direct currents, and set the contact. Adjustments include potentiometers to set the time period and output voltage. LED indicators show voltage levels and contact status.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CONNECT THE ECONOMIZER DEVICE
ECOBRAKE TO THE CONTROL BOARD, FOR SASSI BRAKES IN CONTINUOUS DUTY a) FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Disconnect the main power from the control board before carrying out the connections to fit the Ecobrake device. 2. Power the device with approx. 220240 V. to the terminals L1 and N of the terminal box M1. Always keep the device powered with the above mentioned voltage. 3. Connect the alternate current corresponding to the nominal voltage of the brake to the terminals VB and VB1 of the terminal box M3. Draw this tension directly from the transformer or from the alternate current of the rectifier bridge of the brake voltage. 4. Connect the wires, that from the brake go directly to the control board, to the terminals B+ and B- of the terminal box M4. Eliminate , if present in the control board, possible flywheel diods on the direct current feeding the brake. 5. Connect a contact N.O. of the relay or of the remote control switch of the brake positioned in the control board to the terminals CM and CM1 of the terminal board M2. As soon as the relay or brake remote control switch is energized, the contact get closed to be able to control the Ecobrake device.
