Students in a class were asked to do a selling activity during XUFD, one of the university's biggest events, which some students felt prevented them from fully enjoying. The group chose to sell chocoballs and had success on the first day, earning a profit. However, sales became more difficult on subsequent days. By setting goals, identifying their target market, and making adjustments like experienced marketers, the group was able to execute the activity effectively. The student writer believes the experience was a privilege, not an obstruction, as it allowed them to apply their knowledge and gain experience that can help in future years.

Reflection Journal for the XUFD selling activity:
XUFD is one of the most awaited events in Xavier. A lot of students were so excited, and some said after the event that this XUFD is the best. Unfortunately for us, we were asks to do this selling activity despite having the big event. Some of my classmates were annoyed because they think that they cant enjoy the XUFD due to this selling activity. Well, we dont have any choice considering that this will be part of our prelim exam. In our group we choose chocoballs as our product and fortunately we were able to sell them quickly on the first day. From 500 we earn 700+ in our fist day of selling and we were glad enough of the result, but not quite because there are still more days to come. So on and so forth; it became more difficult for us to sell on the following days. Fortunately, we were able to make adjustments and correction like how a marketer act (chapter 2 and 3 of the book). Weve set our goals and objectives first, and identify who really our target market is, I guess in that way it became easier for us to execute our activity. This activity really made us struggle and do a great effort especially in entertaining our customers, persuading them to buy our product. For me this activity is a privilege and not an obstruction. Its a privilege for me because in 3 days we were able to apply our knowledge to reality and practicality. It trained us and gives us the opportunity on how is it, becoming a businessperson. The experience that we gained in this activity can be used as a tool for the following years to come.
