AVSEC ORDER NO. 2/ 2006


In the exercise of powers conferred by Section 5A of Aircraft Act
1934 delegated to him vide Government of India, Ministry of Civil
aviation Notification No. 1797 dated July 3, 1997, for the purpose of
securing the safety of aircraft operations and access control at the civil
airports in India, the Commissioner of Security (CA) directs that the
enclosed National Civil Aviation Security Programme, which has been
updated to comply with the requirements of Standards of Annex-17 to
the Convention on International Civil Aviation, shall be implemented by
all agencies connected with aviation security in India.
This supercedes AVSEC Order No. 8/2004 dated 31.12.2004 in
this regard.
