HOW TO INSTALL UBUNTU IN WINDOWS

1. Install VMware-player-3.1.0-261024 by double click the setup file. (Setup


can be found in VMware.zip). Click next as shown in Figure 1 below until
finish the installation.

2. Open VMware player from start menu. Click Create a New Virtual
Machine as shown in Figure 2 below.

3. Pop-up window as shown in figure 3 will appear. Select installer disc


image file (iso) button. Browse the ubuntu-10.04.4-desktop-i386 file
and then click next.

4. Complete the information as shown below. Create your own username and
password. Your username must be small letter and at least 1 number.
Once finish click next button.

5. Name the virtual machine name as Linux_Ubuntu as shown below. Then


click next button.

6. Follow the setup as below. Click next button.

7. Lastly, click finish button.

8. The installation will take several minutes/hours to complete.(In my case it
take 50 minutes to complete).
