AN ACTIVITY PLAN

Group: 12 Ss
Gender: 3 males, 9 females
Age: 12
Level: Beginner
Materials: None.
Time: 5 min.
Interaction: T/Ss, S/Ss.

OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson,
✔ The teacher will have got information about “what words on their
background”.

STEPS
➢ T asks the students to sit in silence.
➢ T asks one student sitting on the front desk to say a word.
➢ T asks the student behind that student to say another word which derives from the last letter of
their friend said.
➢ It goes on 4-5 minutes.
➢ T evaluates their knowledge of English words.

A group of 12 students 12-year-olds have been learning English and have been taught English by the
same teacher for one year and I am going to teach them from now on. They know each other very
well. I am wondering about their English performance. Using this activity I’d like to learn about that.
And I don’t think there is a chaos in the classroom because of the number of the students. I want them
to be relax and make them know their own knowledge. Thus, their interest can be increased. The
activity takes 4-5 minutes of the class.
