14.1Variations may be initiated by the Employer at any time prior to
issuing the Taking-Over Certificate for the Works, by an instruction for
the Contractor to submit a proposal. They shall not make any
alteration or modification of the Permanent Works, unless the
Employer instructs or approves a Variation.
60.1 Variation to the work is made by a Project Manager's instruction
to change the work information. A variation may comprise deletion or
addition of work or alteration to work. It may include changes to the
employer's design, to design criteria or to performance requirements
for the contractor's design.
39.2.1 If the Employer proposes a Change , it shall require the
Contractor to prepare and furnish to the Project Manager as soon as
reasonably practicable a "Change Proposal," which shall include the
following: 1.brief description of the Change. 2. effect on the Time for
Completion Manager. 3. Estimated cost of the Change. 4.effect on
Functional Guarantees, if any, and. 5.effect on any other provisions of
the Contract.

FIDIC 14.1 El Empleador puede iniciar variaciones en cualquier momento
(1995) anterior a la emisin del Certificado de Recepcin de Obra, mediante
una instruccin al Contratista de presentar una propuesta. No
efectuar ninguna alteracin o modificacin de las Obras Permanentes,
a menos que el Empleador instruye o apruebe una Variacin.

60.1 Una variacin de la Obra se realiza mediante una instruccin de
(1995) un Director de Proyecto de cambiar la informacin de la obra. Una
variacin puede comprender la supresin o la adicin de trabajo o una
modificacin de la obra. Se pueden incluir cambios al diseo del
Empleador, a los criterios de diseo o a los requerimientos de
rendimiento del diseo del Contratista.
ENAA 39.2.1 Si el Empleador propone un cambio, requerir que el
(1996) Contratista prepare y presente al Director de Proyecto, tan pronto
como sea razonablemente posible, una "Propuesta de Modificacin",
que incluir lo siguiente: 1. Breve descripcin del cambio. 2. Efecto
sobre el plazo para la terminacin. 3. Costo estimado del cambio. 4.
Efecto sobre las garantas de funcionamiento, si haya, y 5. Efecto sobre
cualesquiera otras disposiciones del Contrato.
