The poem expresses longing for love that has yet to be fulfilled through further tests of love. Though there are still spaces ahead in life, there are also still hardships to overcome. Even with dissatisfaction with the world of color and beauty, there are still gardens and places of refuge. Though one may lose something precious, there are still higher places of beauty. While you fly high, there are still skies above. Do not get lost in each day and night, as there are still lands and places belonging to you. Where once I was alone in the crowd, now there are still those who share my secrets.
