A. Engage 1.Let the students listen to the accompaniment of
Happy Birthday and ask the following questions:
a. What do you feel when someone is playing
or singing Happy
Birthday during your birthday?
b.. What do you notice to the tempo of the
song?
2. The teacher will play Happy Birthday again but
in the Minor Key and ask again the questions.
a. What do you feel after you listen to the
music?
b. What is the difference of the first one that
I played a while ago?
B. Explore
Let the students listen to teacher while playing
the chords one by one and notice the quality
of sound.
