LESSON DEVELOPMENT

Day 1 (Depending on your lesson but we could follow this arrangement: Literature, grammar then
assessment)
A. Daily Routine (5 minutes)
a. Prayer
b. Checking of attendance
c. Checking of classroom cleanliness
B. Motivation (10 minutes)

the Day”: (Milieu 3: ICT Integration/ Milieu 4: 21st Century Skills/Milieu 6: Student-centered

- Meaning and sentence usage.

C. Lesson Proper
a. The learners will read a passage that will be given by the teacher (20 minutes)
b. “Triplets”. The learners will be group consisting of 3 members per group. They will
share their thought and experiences.
c. Each group of three will choose one representative to share it to the class. (Milieu 1:
Interdisciplinary Integration/ Milieu 6: Student-centered activity) (20 minutes)
d. Exit Pass. On paper, the learners will give their favorite story and explain in two to
three sentences why they love it. (15 minutes)

Day 2 (Every day, make sure there is an activity/part that will serve as motivation, values
integration, and closure)
a. Daily Routine (5 minutes)
b. “EWORCS” (10 minutes) The learners will discuss their chosen unfamiliar word in class
through “Word of the Day”: (Milieu 3: ICT Integration/ Milieu 4: 21st Century Skills/Milieu
6: Student-centered Activities)
c. Discussion. The teacher will discuss the following through a PowerPoint Presentation: (20
minutes)
d. “Story Time” The teacher will present a story and the learners will try to use the different
connection that was discussed earlier.
e. Short Quiz. The learners will distinguish the type of connection present in each sentence.

Day 3
a. Daily Routine (5 minutes)
b. “EWORCS” (10 minutes) The learners will discuss their chosen unfamiliar word in class

D. Value Processing (20 minutes)
Using the biblical story of “King Solomon and the Two Mothers” answer the following question
(Milieu 2: Multiple Intelligences/ Milieu 3: ICT Integration)
a. Is there a scenario that you remember that proves or show the unconditional love
of your parents? Explain.
b. What type of text of this story?

The story ends in a harmonious manner, in our surroundings, on what way we can
achieve that peaceful and harmonious relationship with others?

climate in school (Ps.133:1)
