Eurec602: Digital Signal Processing Unit I: B.Tech. (Ece) - Vi Semester
This document outlines the units of study for a Digital Signal Processing course. Unit I introduces discrete time signals and systems, linear difference equations, and transforms. Unit II covers the Discrete Fourier Transform and its properties, as well as fast convolution methods like overlap-add and fast Fourier transform. Unit III discusses implementation of discrete time systems, including structures for FIR and IIR filters and effects of finite word length. Unit IV describes design of IIR filters from analog filters and through impulse invariance. Unit V covers design of linear phase FIR filters using windows and frequency sampling, as well as DSP architectures and processors.
