Checklist For AHU Installation

This checklist outlines the steps for installing an air handling unit (AHU), including verifying proper installation of the cabinet, coils and piping, sheet metal ductwork, controls, fans, electrical components, and sensors and actuators. The checklist includes over 100 individual items to inspect, such as ensuring vibration isolation is installed, pipes are insulated and labeled, ducts are sealed and have turning vanes, and fan rotation is correct. Completing the full checklist verifies proper installation and readiness for operation of the new AHU.
