BHEL-ISG provides a one-point contact to the customer for system Design, installation and Servicing in the fields of Energy, industry and Infrastructure. As a responsible employer, it is of utmost concern that the workplace, operation and activities are congenial to all concerned. It is hence our endeavour at ISG to adopt and implement the Health, Safety & Environmental Policy enunciated as follows: To be an environment friendly company in all the activities, products and services. To provide safe and healthy working environment to all the persons covering its employees, contractors, contract labours, trainees, suppliers, customers and interested parties as an integral part of business performance through: Compliance with applicable legal and other requirements related to the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment; Regular evaluation and Commitment to prevention of pollution / Injury / Ill health; Setting objectives and targets to eliminate/ control/ minimise waste generation and environmental pollution, risks due to Occupational Health and Safety Hazards; Enhancement of environmental awareness, safety, and occupational health awareness amongst employees, customers, suppliers contractors and all interested parties by proactive communication and training; Continual improvement through periodical review of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System to ensure its suitability, adequacy and effectiveness; Communication of HSE Policy to all employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and all interested parties including the public; Co-ordination with concerned Government agencies / Regulatory bodies engaged in occupational health, safety and environmental activities.
