The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes Comprehension Questions Part One Verse I 1. In your own words describe the weather.

Verse X and XI 28. What is the purpose of these two verses? 29. Do you think this is an effective way to end the story of Bess and the highwayman? Explain why or why not.

Storyboard Activity
You are going to create a storyboard of The Highwayman. You will have to select the 8 most important events from the poem and depict them. For each event you will also write a quotation that matches what youve drawn. This means: 8 events and 8 quotations The quotations do not have to be long BUT they do have to fit the scene youre depicting. You will have to read the poem carefully to choose the details that you will include in each frame. Include colour! Take pride in your work this will go on display!
