This document provides instructions for making Pudgy Piggy Slippers. The slippers are made in two pieces - an outer slipper and a lining. SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS Sc2tog = [draw up a loop in next st] twice, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook. SLIPPERS Snout (Make 2) Round 1: With A ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with a slip st in first sc. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around; join -- 12 sc. Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sc, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc] 3 times, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last 3 sc; turn -- 32 sc. Oh what fun it is to keep your little piggies warm and cozy inside a pair of unique chubby slippers! Now there is no reason to have cold feet!

** Continue in sc increasing 4 sts evenly spaced until there are 64 sts. Then work even in sc until 10 from beginning, end wrong side row. Shape Heel Next Row: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sc; * [draw up a loop in next st] twice, yo and through all 3 loops on hook -- sc2tog made; sc in next 4 sc; repeat from * across; turn -- 54 sts. Directions are for an adult medium 8-9 foot. RED HEART Super Saver: 1 skein 373 Petal Pink and 312 Black. Crochet Hook: Size G-6 [4 mm]. Yarn needle, polyfill stuffing. GAUGE: 16 sts = 4; 5 sc rounds = 1. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge given.
